In 1927, a young lawyer named Juan S. Aritao (deceased) established his legal practice, laying the foundations of Aritao Law Offices even before the Philippines gained full independence.
By the late 1950s and early 1960s, Atty. Juan S. Aritao's sons joined him in his practice: Atty. Teodoro V. Aritao (deceased) admitted to the Philippine bar in 1957, and Atty. Benjamin V. Aritao, Sr. (deceased), admitted in 1962.
Today, the family practice continues through the sons of Atty. Benjamin V. Aritao: Atty. Lawrence E. Aritao (admitted to the Bar 2008) and Benjamin E. Aritao Jr. (admitted 2009), as well as Atty. Grace C. Pastorfide (admitted 2010).
